Patrick is a 1984 graduate of Cornell University and received his commission as a 2 nd Lieutenant through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. After receiving his wings from Vance AFB, OK, he spent over 28 years in the Air Force and retired as a Colonel. He had assignments flying F-15Cs at Eglin AFB, FL, Langley AFB, VA and Tyndall AFB, FL as the commander of the 95 FS “Boneheads”. Additional assignments included an exchange tour with the Royal Air Force flying F-3 Tornados at RAF Leuchars, Scotland, staff tours at ACC, ACSC and AWC at Maxwell AFB, AL, 19 th Air Force Operations Officer flying T-38Cs at Randolph AFB, TX, 306 Flying Training Group

Commander at USAFA, CO, and his last assignment as the 11 th Air Force Vice Commander flying C-12Fs at Elmendorf AFB, AK. After retirement he flew as a Standardization and Evaluation CFI at Doss Aviation at Pueblo Airport and was the Chief Tow pilot at the USAFA. He is currently a Phenom and Citation pilot and the Chief Pilot for Falcon AeroLab. He also instructs in gliders for FAL and provides tailwheel instruction in a Super Decathlon. He is a command pilot with over 10,000 hours in 70 types of military and civilian aircraft and is an ATP, CFI, CFII, and CFI-G.
